Gourishankar Meditation is a powerful centering technique that works on the third eye. This meditation consists of four stages, each lasting 15 minutes. The first two stages prepare the meditator for the spontaneous experience of the third stage. That has said that if the breathing is done correctly in the first stage, the meditator will feel as if they are on Gourishankar (Mount Everest).

Sit with your eyes closed. Inhale deeply through the nose, filling the lungs, and hold your breath for as long as possible. Then exhale gently through the mouth, keeping your lungs empty for as long as possible. Repeat this cycle.
Return to normal breathing. Keeping your gaze soft and gentle, look at a flame or flashing (strobe) blue light. Remain still during this process.
Note 1: Those with a neurological disorder such as epilepsy should never use a strobe or flashing light for this meditation. Instead, they can do the second stage with a blindfold.
Note 2: The music in the second stage of this meditation has a rhythmic beat that is seven times the normal heartbeat. If possible, the flashing light should be a synchronized strobe at a frequency of 490 per minute. If a strobe light is not available, you can use a candle.
With eyes closed, stand up and allow your body to be loose and receptive. The subtle energies within will move your body outside your normal control. Do not move intentionally; let the movement happen on its own.
Keeping your eyes closed, lie down and remain still. Enter a state of silence and allow witnessing to happen naturally.
