Anapanasati Yoga, as taught by Osho, is a powerful mindfulness meditation that focuses on breath awareness while observing the external world and yourself. Follow the steps below for a balanced practice, morning and evening, over three months.
How to practice: Download the audio and follow these simple steps for your meditation.
Sit comfortably, close your eyes, and focus on your natural breath. Observe each inhale and exhale without changing or controlling it.
As you continue to focus on your breath, become aware of any external sounds. Let them exist without letting them disturb your inner focus.
Keep observing your breath, but now also observe yourself. Watch your thoughts, feelings, and sensations as an observer, without attachment.
Continue observing your breath and external world, becoming the witness of all that happens around and within you. Let go of attachment and just watch.
